Council Incentives and Awards
- $500 awarded quarterly to the top recruiting council
in each of our four regions based on paid memberships
(minimum of 12 paid members). A council cannot win in
two consecutive quarters.
- A “Night Out with MOAA” for council and chapter
leaders in any state where 75% of its chapters recruited
eight or more new paid members
Chapter Incentives and Awards
- $10 for each new complimentary membership
(Complimentary memberships cannot be given to those who
have received a complimentary MOAA membership in the
past.)
- A “double-down” recruiting incentive will be given
for paid memberships, with chapters receiving $20 for
each paid membership (retired and former officers and
surviving spouses)
- $20 for each Life membership (new or converted). The
chapter member receives a 10% discount on life
membership. The application in GMT Life Membership
Brochure must be used or chapter members can call our
Member Service Center at 1-800-234-6622 and identify
themselves as a chapter member to receive the discount.
- $100 bonus for every 10 new paid members recruited
- $1,000 prize for chapters that recruit the most new
paid members (minimum of ten)—prizes awarded in ten
categories based on chapter size*
- $250 awarded quarterly to the top recruiting
non-affiliated chapter (no state council) (minimum of
four new paid members). A chapter cannot win in two
consecutive quarters.
Individual Recruiter
- For each new member recruited, chapter recruiters
can earn an “entry” in a random drawing for an
end-of-contest sweepstakes
- $1,000 prize to the chapter recruiter on the winning
sweepstakes entry
- The new member associated with the winning entry
receives an MOAA national Life Membership and $500
*In the event of a tie, both chapters will receive
$1,000 awards.
